Home Learning

Home Learning plays an important role in supporting your child's education. We believe it helps enrich their potential, and so, we are clear about our expectations.

Homework is provided through our Google Classroom platform. You should also receive a paper copy of this weekly. We also subscribe to TT Rockstars and your child should have a log-in for this. If you are unsure about this, then please contact your child’s teacher.

Throughout the school, the most important learning that your child can undertake is to read every day and establish a love of books that will stay with them forever. Being widely read is the base for all learning and so please encourage reading all of the time.

We take pride in homework that the children do. We regularly display homework both in and out of classrooms alongside class work.

We also realise that children are supported by their families to participate in wider learning at home such as clubs and societies, cooking, sports or charitable pursuits. We ask parents to inform school of the activities your child take part in.

If you have any concerns around Home Learning, please contact your child's Teacher in person or through the learning platforms and they will make time to answer your questions.

Together we will help every child reach their full potential.
